Our school was founded in 1971 and affiliated to the International House World Organisation in 1977.
The building is situated in the commercial and historic centre of town, just off the main Rambla in Calle La Rasa [ mapa ]. The house occupying three-storeys was designed by the architect Lluis Muncunill.
The entire building is air-conditioned and since 2010 all the classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards.
The school also has a student café, study centre and patio area. The Students Club is an area where students and teachers can meet outside class.
Our Students' Club
On the ground floor and with access to the garden, there is a pleasant and relaxing area for students and teachers. It is an ideal place to socialize with other students and to make new friends...
It's our Students' Club...
Free access to Internet provides students with a source of current, authentic material to help them develop their language skills.
Also available are the interactive materialsof our Net Languages courses, so that students can study any time of day.
Our language courses
English, German, French and Spanish are offered throughout the academic year. The school offers a wide range of General Courses as well as Preparation Courses for international exams.
All students who are new to the school have a short interview with the Director of Studies before being assigned the group that best meets their needs, both in terms of level and learning style.
The level test can be done at any time during office hours. The groups are made up according to age and following a strict system of levels (from Beginners to Advanced).
It is not necessary for new students wanting an interview with the Director of Studies for their level test to reserve in advance.
As an alternative to group classes, there is the option of private classes, tailor-made to suit the linguistic needs of the individual student.
Off the school premises we offer both general and business English for companies.
