Enrolment procedure, CELTA courses
Applicants for the course must complete an application form and a pre interview task and send it to training@bcn.ihes.com.
We will then set up an interview, preferably face-to-face. If you are a long way away from Barcelona we will ask you to telephone us at a pre-arranged time.
To secure a place once you have been accepted you should ensure that the full fee is paid at least EIGHT weeks before the course begins.
Applicants applying less than EIGHT weeks before the course are required to pay the fees on acceptance.
Late applications
We will accept late applications if there are still places on the course.
Please note that wherever possible, correspondence with prospective course candidates is carried out by email.
We have a reputation for excellent response to applications, so if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of emailing us, please telephone +34 93 268 3304 to check the progress of your application.
Transfer from another IH centre
We will accept the application form and pre-interview task you may already have completed for a CELTA course at another International House centre.
A second interview will not be necessary, provided that another IH centre has accepted you.
Price
Course fees: €1,630
At current exchange rate (2 May 2013), approximately $2,146 US dollars or £1,378 GBP.
Price includes Cambridge registration fee.

You should not pay anything until you have submitted your application and been interviewed.

Cancellations
In the case of cancellation six weeks or more before the course starting date, 20% of our total fee will be retained. With less than six weeks' notice, 50% of our total fee will be retained. If cancellation occurs in the final ten days before the starting date our total fee will be retained.
However, in certain exceptional circumstances we will consider transferring the fees to another course.
No transfer is made if notice is insufficient to allow for the finding of a substitute candidate. In the event of a course being cancelled all fees will be refunded.
NOTE Once the course has started, there is no possible refund. For this reason, you might consider taking out an insurance policy in order to be covered in case anything happen and you needed to leave the course.
