Internet access

The Internet Room

We're now upstairs on "E" floor, right at the very top of the stairs ("Wow! This would make a great flat up here," someone exclaimed when they walked in the other day).

Equipment

The Internet Room is open to our students around 60 hours a week, with free Internet access being included with your course.

The room is has 15 computers equipped with Internet Explorer for browsing the Internet, and Office 2007 for word-processing etc..

Students can reserve a maximum 30-minutes a day on a computer, though there are always times when the room is less busy and you are free to stay on longer (and can generally do so for several hours a day).

Working at the PC The Internet Room in fact occupies two rooms, one of which you will occasionally find closed either for a seminar or because there is a teacher using it with a group of students.

Wireless access

For the duration of your course we can provide you with wireless access if you have a suitably equipped laptop (it is not available on most handheld devices).

WiFi access is available in the bar area and most of the rest of D Floor.

Staff

The Internet Room is staffed by Sergio, Tom and Natxo, who will be happy to help you with any technical difficulties you might have. If you are trying to find something Barcelona-related on the Internet, they will also be happy to help.

Opening times

The Internet is open from 10.30 to 21.00 Monday to Thursday, from 10.30 to 18.00 on Fridays, and from 9.30 to 13.00 on Saturdays.

A different timetable may be in operation during holiday periods.
