The Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish equivalent of the British Council or the Goethe Institute, organises Spanish language examinations known as the "Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera" (or DELE).
We present candidates at 4 levels: B1, B2, C1 and C2.
These levels are roughly equivalent to the Cambridge English language exams: PET, First Certificate, CAE and Proficiency (i.e. lower intermediate, intermediate, advanced and very advanced).
All the exams include reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, and oral expression components. All five parts of the exam are taken on the same day.
See the website of the Instituto Cervantes for full details of the examinations.
See separate page for full details, dates, etc., of the CCSE nationality exam, which you can also take at IH Barcelona.
